About WoolBesties

One of our main goals at WoolBesties is to encourage community service and engagement. All of our WoolBesties are handmade by our team of artists, which is comprised of passionate and excited high school students from the WoolBesties club at Minnetonka High School. It brings together a group of diverse individuals that wouldn't have otherwise gotten to know each other, all of us united under a common cause: to create charming, felted animals.  We meet weekly in the library to craft these adorable little animals. But don't get us wrong. Though we may be selling you cute, woolly animals, we're not all in for the money. As a social enterprise, we seek to use business practices to maximize profits that can then be used for the benefit of the community. When you purchase one of our cozy little critters, not only do you get to take home a unique and eye-catching piece of art - you're also contributing to a rotating list of charities and nonprofit organizations. Buy WoolBesties for handmade quality, community engagement, and a warm, fuzzy feeling every time you hold your woolly, little friend.

Our Mission

As a social enterprise, we're all about giving back to the community. That's why a portion of our profits will be donated to a rotating list of local nonprofit organization and charities and our club at Minnetonka High School.
